You can devote time to the arts in the
Ernst-Moritz-Engert Museum.
Among the artists given a permanent exhibition in the town museum are Ernst Moritz Engert, one of the most important silhouette artists of the 20th century, Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach, with his famous mural, 68 metres long, 'Per aspera ad astra ' in the Jugendstil (art nouveau), and the local painter, Alois Koch, with his many water colours and oil paintings.
In the columned hall young people can be married in a romantic atmosphere.
Opening Times:
Tuesdays to Fridays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.,
every first Sunday in the month from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and by prior arrangement.
From June to September - every Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m..
