Niederzeuzheim belongs to the oldest cultural sites in the Limburg area. This is proved by the remains of a stone grave dating from around 2000 B.C.,situated on the border between Niederzeuzheim and Thalheim. An exact copy of it can be seen in the Wiesbaden Landesmuseum. Its historic centre is marked by half-timbered houses from the 16th to the 18th centuries. There is also the village museum on the Backhausberg, in which are to be seen living-rooms as they looked in the 19th century, and a collection of cultural items from this countryside area. These give us an idea of the way our ancestors lived. Visits are possible upon request: Tel: (06433)-70253.

In the parish church of St. Peter's,built around 1720, with its old Romanesque West Tower and chancel dating from the 18th century, lovers of Hadamar Baroque will find a remarkable high altar and two side altars from the 18th century.

On the road to Frickhofen stands the Kreuzkapelle (Chapel of the Cross), containing an artistic Baroque altar by J.V. Neudecker and a relic from the Cross of Jesus Christ. Near this chapel are the riding and dressage grounds of the long-established Riding Club of Niederzeuzheim. (www.zeuzheim.de)
