Hadamar is on the B54 (Deutsche Fachwerkstrasse Route 7, German half-timbered buildings, route 7) at the foot of the Westerwald. It is near Limburg on the Lahn with its cathedral, and is 10 kilometres from the A3 turn-off Limburg Nord. The B49 towards Weilburg, on to B54 towards Siegen. From the Sauerlandlinie A45, turn-off Haiger-Burbach B54 towards Rennerod and Limburg.
